A powerful, long‑aged Aglianico from Montemarano and Castelfranci, offering deep ruby intensity with notes of morello cherry and wild berries—perfect alongside rich pastas, red meats, game, and aged cheeses.
- Grapes: 100% Aglianico – 13% vol.
- Grape production area: Montemarano – Castelfranci
- Altitude of the vineyards: 500/550 m3/year
- Vineyard training: Spurred cordon
- Aging: Wine aged for over 4 years, of which at least 18 months in French oak barrels, refined in bottle for no less than 1 year.
- Tasting Notes: This wine has an intense ruby color, tending toward garnet-orange, is full-bodied, and has a full flavor. The palate leaves hints of morello cherry and berries. It should be served at approximately 18-20°C, making sure to uncork the bottle a few hours beforehand.
- Pairings: Recommended with first courses with sauce, red meats, game and well-aged cheeses.
